PRIVACY / WEBSITE ENQUIRIES
Privacy and enquiries.
This notice explains how the Cainworth website handles information when you contact us. Cainworth is the name used for this website and a developing commercial research initiative. This site currently supports enquiries and preliminary discussions only. Any future paid engagement, invoicing or payment arrangement would proceed only after suitable legal and payment arrangements have been established and confirmed in writing.
How the website contact works
The enquiry form runs in your browser. It does not submit the information you type to a Cainworth web server or database. Instead, it prepares an unsent email draft addressed to cb@cainworth.com, or lets you copy the prepared text. You choose whether to send it from your email application.
Email and correspondence
If you choose to send an email, your email provider and the providers supporting the Cainworth mailbox handle transmission and delivery. Cainworth may then receive the information you include, such as your name, email address, organization and commercial question. We use correspondence to respond, assess whether a suitable assignment exists, manage agreed work and maintain appropriate business records.
Hosting and technical information
The website is hosted by a third-party hosting provider. Basic technical information such as IP address, browser or device information and request metadata may be processed by hosting and security infrastructure to deliver, protect and troubleshoot the site. This version of the website does not intentionally use advertising trackers, behavioral profiling or a Cainworth analytics service.
Sensitive and confidential information
Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, personal identification numbers, financial account credentials or unnecessary sensitive personal information through an initial enquiry. Confidential specifications, proprietary pricing and transaction documents should be shared only after an appropriate scope, recipient and handling method have been agreed.
Retention and disclosure
Correspondence may be retained for as long as reasonably needed to respond to an enquiry, administer agreed work, maintain necessary records, protect against fraud or disputes, or meet applicable legal obligations. We do not sell personal information. Information may be disclosed to service providers or appropriately qualified specialists only where reasonably necessary for the relevant work, security or legal obligations and subject to the scope and permissions appropriate to the engagement.
Your choices and contact
You may contact cb@cainworth.com with privacy questions or to ask about, correct or request deletion of information contained in our correspondence, subject to records that may need to be retained for legitimate business or legal reasons.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice if the website, contact process or supporting services change. This version was last updated on 4 November 2026.
